At a glance

The print ordering and management application is a third party web application built for a local printing company and their brokers.

There are two main functions of the application.

  • Client side - ordering system
    • Clients can set up multiple templates for various products such as business cards, memo pads, letter heads and envelopes.
    • When a new order is placed the client specific products and templates are retrieved and the client provides the desired customized information
    • The ordering system ties into the broker's existing ordering system and delivers the order directly to the printer for production
  • Back end - ordering management
    • Administrators from the brokers side can manage the orders as they come in and allows the ability to edit, remove, and authorize the orders as well as track the production process.
